Yvette Kraft is a talented and recognized 18-year-old violinist who already has an extensive professional career. She is one of the classical music artists whose music speaks, which cannot be expressed, soothes the mind, and heals the heart.
Yvette’s Bio
Yvette Kraft is garnering national and international recognition as a superior artist and performer. She is a 2021 National Public Radio “From the Top” soloist and fellow. She placed 2nd at the Grumiaux International Violin Competition in Brussels, Belgium in the spring of 2020 and was a semi-finalist in the Louis Spohr International Violin Competition in Weimar, Germany in 2019. She is an MTNA National Finalist and a 2019 Gold Medalist at the SYAMFA competition. She won the grand prize in the Seattle King FM Young Artist Award, and the Simon-Fiset Violin Competition. She has won numerous concerto competitions and is the 2022 winner of the SFCM’s Violin Concerto Competition and will be performing with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Orchestra in their upcoming 2022-23 season. As a soloist, Yvette has performed with the renowned Seattle Symphony Orchestra and awed the audience with her Ysäye encore! She has performed concerti with Seattle’s Philharmonia Northwest Orchestra, the Washington/Idaho Symphony, the Interlochen Orchestra, the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra and debuted at 11 years old with the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. Yvette Kraft delights audiences with her articulately crafted interpretations and stunning performance artistry.
